We are so happy to announce that we have been matched with a birthmom! We could not be more excited or honored. Our baby girl is due December 21st! After setting up this blog, I emailed the link to everyone I knew and posted it on my facebook page as well. With in a day or so we were contacted by a sweet birthmom who had read our profile and felt a connection to us. We had no idea this would all happen so fast but we are so excited!
Hoping to Adopt Another Baby!
Dear Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We feel privileged that you or someone you know may consider us as adoptive parents for their baby. We realize that this decision will be the result of much thought, prayer and many sleepless nights. We pray that you will find peace and hope in the future.
Both of our children have come into our family through adoption. There is nothing more important to us then being the best parents possible. Our lives are centered around our family and we hope to be given the opportunity to focus our attention on a new baby as well.
As you read our profile, we hope that you can feel of our excitement to have another child in our family and that you can sense the sincerity in our hearts. It is such a blessing to be part of the very special and sacred adoption process. We feel that adoptive families are meant to be and that God’s hand is in all things.

Walking around Silver Lake
It has become a family tradition to walk around Silver Lake on Conference Sunday. Can you see why? The leaves have peaked up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Today was beautiful. It was warm and sunny and the scenery couldn't have been better.
I think we have a similar family picture here every year.
Finn loves being tickled right now. It is so funny.
It was amazing how fast we were able to walk around the lake this year. We have been taking Finn on this walk ever since he took his first steps and there have been years that we went REALLY slow. He is growing up so fast.
Picking Plums
When we remodeled our house, we tore out several overgrown trees. One of the trees that we saved was the plumb tree in the backyard.
This year, Lars spent a lot of time fertilizing the tree and treating the bugs. Today we reaped the benefits of his hard work and picked the plumbs off of our tree.
Finn was in seventh heaven up on the ladder.
Our neighbor made plumb cobbler for us! It was so good. I have also heard they are great dried. We are going to try to take as many as we can to neighbors and enjoy the rest.
I think plumb picking will be a much anticipated family tradition in the years to come.
